Water is a driving force of all nature; it is amazing! Feeling sleepy at work? Drink water. Blood sugar levels gone awry? Drink water. Did you know we found the fountain of youth? WATER! Drink water to look younger and feel younger. It moisturizes the skin to maintain its texture and appearance. Trouble going to sleep? Drink water a few hours before bed. Do you get overly heated easily? Drink water. It is fuel for your muscles and prevents you from getting muscle cramps and strains. Water is a ph regulator. Our body PH should be about 7.4. PH levels less than 6.9 and greater than 7.6 are life threatening. If your body is too acidic you will be more susceptible to illness. An alkaline body is a happy body. Water balances our electrolytes and its a temperature regulator. Guess what? We are supposed to sweat!! Water is needed for most body functions, including to maintain the health and integrity of every cell in the body.

People need to increase their fluid intake when they are:

Symptoms of dehydration

•dry or cracked lips
•confusion and hallucinations.
Dehydration occurs when the water content of the body is too low. This is easily fixed by increasing fluid intake.
• Coffee, tea, soda, alcohol, and energy drinks are not water.
These drinks contain water, but also contain dehydrating agents.
